Hello, my sweet little rosies!
I figured it would be nice to do a little introduction since I never really formally introduced myself to any of you.

I’m Alexis Paige. I’m in my mid-twenties and engaged to the loveliest man I’ve ever met, B. We live in Arizona with our cat and have no real intentions on leaving as long as I get to plan a road trip every few months. We plan on marrying in October 2020 but we’re not really planning anything either. We know we’re getting married, but that’s about it. He's not much of a planner and I forget a lot, so wedding planning isn't really on the top of our list. A family is very much wanted and only time will tell when it comes to that. Until that time, we're just trying to figure out how to start our lives together.

I am a spoonie. If you don’t know what that is, definitely take a few minutes and look up the spoon theory. To sum it up: I have a few chronic illnesses. I have mast cell activation syndrome, PoTS, and small fiber neuropathy. I'm allergic to a lot of things on a bad day, I get dizzy a lot, don't remember often, and am in some type of pain almost always. Because the brain fog is playing a bigger part in my life as of late, I'm documenting a ton on my Instagram now, @paperrosies, if you ever want day to day updates. Being a spoonie is a part of who I am, it isn’t the entirety of me. Although I’m taking back control of my life, depression still plays a big part of my mental state. It hit me hard this year and I did what every other millennial does, I reached out to the internet for help. I figured I should share my stories with the world and help normalize mental health as well as "invisible illnesses".

Obviously, this is me *very* summed up, but it's a decent start. If I were to ask you who you are, what would you say?
